The Servo-Flex SFC is a steel disc-spring coupling developed for high-speed and high-precision positioning of servomotors or for ultra-precise controls. Employing a laminated steel disc-spring as a power transmission element, the Servo-Flex SFC has ideal properties: torsional rigidity as well as flexibility in bending, on uneven surfaces and in axial directions. The clamping connection is used for shaft coupling with zero backlash as all power is transmitted by frictional coupling. No aging as with rubber or resin couplings. Single element type for better rigidity and double element type for enhanced flexibility are available. Taper shaft adapter for servomotors, customized body length and keyway milling applications on clamping hub are available as options.
